Let begin looking at the bets you can place beginning at the top of the table and working our way down:

BIG and SMALL Corner Bets

The top row of the Sic Bo table offer action on two corner bets labeled BIG or SMALL, with their names coming from the spread of numbers they cover. SMALL bets will payout if the total sum of all three dice is equal to 4-10. A BIG bet will payout if the sum of the dice is equal to 11-17. The only caveat for these bets is that any triple dice result will result in a loss. The maximum payout for these corner bets is 1:1.

Double and Triple Bets

Between the corner, bets are the Double and Triple bet options, with one of them being the highest paying bet in the game. All that this means is that you are betting on whether you believe a certain number on appear on two or three of the dice for the upcoming roll.

Naturally, the odds of these double or triple number outcomes landing are reflected in their payout values:

  • Betting on a specific Triple 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 pays 180:1

  • Betting on any Triple landing in the next game pays out 30:1

  • Betting on a Double 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 pays out 10:1

 

The key to betting on this section is to remember that the Any Triple is the only high-paying box that does not require you to place a bet on each specific number you want to include in the next round. Betting in that box covers the eventuality of any Triple being hit with only a single bet.

Additional Sum Bets

The row of numbers below this top row contains the numbers 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, and 17. Where the previous selection of wagers was based on which combination of values would appear per die this is a pure cumulative value bet.

By selecting a number from this list, you are predicting that the sum of the next roll for the three dice will equal the number you’ve selected.

Once again, the oddsmakers have determined the probability of these values coming up and you can see the chances reflected in the payouts:

  • 4 & 16 payout 60:1

  • 5 & 16 payout 30:1

  • 6 &17 payouts 17:1

  • 7 & 14 payout 12:1

  • 8 & 13 payout 8:1

  • 9, 10, 11 & 12 payout 6:1

 

Given that these outcomes are based on cumulative values there are no rules where double or triple dice rolls result in losses as with some of the other bets.

Two Dice Value Bets

The second last row on the Sic Bo board covers bets based solely on the outcome of two of the three dice being rolled. This section of the board reminds us of the opening plays of a game of dominoes and is often playfully referred to as a domino bet by longtime Sic Bo players.

The board presents fifteen predetermined dice combinations for you to bet on. Correctly predicting a winning combination will see you paid out at 5:1.

Single Dice Bet

The final betting option available to you in Sic Bo is the single dice bet line. This line contains the numbers 1-6 and will payout 1:1 for a correct prediction. However, since the game is played with three dice there is always the potential for a single number to appear two or even three times. Should this be the case for your winning prediction the casino will award you a 2:1 payout for a double and a 3:1 payout for a triple.
