Baccarat
Made famous by James Bond himself, Baccarat is a casino card classic with simple rules that you'll pick up in no time.
It is likely that Baccarat originated in Italy. From there the game spread across Europe and arrived in the US where it became known as Punto Blanco.
Baccarat is nice and simple there are only three possible outcomes - banker, player and draw. And to make it even simple the draw option is often omitted.
Both player and dealer are dealt two cards. The player bets on whether he thinks his hand or the dealer's will come close to the desired score of nine points. The cards are revealed and the winner determined according to the outcome.
When the card count is seven or below then the dealer has the option to deal more cards. A draw chart will be displayed at Baccarat tables illustrating the betting options.
So that's Baccarat in a nutshell. The best advice we can give is to jump straight in and start playing!
